High-Definition Radiology with Added Peace of Mind

AeroDR® Carbon is our most advanced digital detector, interchangeable with AeroDR HD’s image quality, durability, and reliability. The CSI scintillator with 100-micron resolution and 72% DQE(@ 0 cycle/mm)[1] provides outstanding image quality. The advanced electronics provide rapid cycle time, up to 4 hrs. of use on a 13-minute charge[2], AED exposure, in-panel storage, auto roaming, and built-in DDR compatibility to make AeroDR Carbon a long-lasting investment.

High Definition 100µ

The first detector that’s able to switch from High Resolution (100µ) to High Dynamic Range (200µ)

High Definition uses 100µ to give you more detail of small structures. Realism Image Processing enhances sharpness and contrast while keeping the natural granularity of the structures, like bone tubercular, even under magnification. High definition is recommended for extremities, shoulders and other structures where magnification is preferred to improve diagnostic accuracy.

High Dynamic Range aggregates the data from 4 pixels to give you a wider range of grays between all Black and all White pixels – giving you a smooth image and allowing you to differentiate subtle differences in soft tissue.

Draw deeper insights from your X-ray images. High Dynamic range helps visualize depth/definition in images of complex bone/soft tissue structures like the abdomen, chest, spine and hip.

Why Consider Dynamic Digital Radiography?
  • Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR) provides a view of anatomy in motion, with a large field of view and low radiation dose
  • Most advanced medical imaging technologies like CT and MRI provide superb spatial resolution but not movement
  • Ultrasound has a limited range and fluoroscopy cannot be reprocessed to highlight soft tissue
  • Images can be acquired with the patient in a natural upright position, impossible with CT or MRI

Advanced Technology That Goes Almost Anywhere

Compact and portable, the AeroDR HD detector measures just 14" x 17" and weighs only 5.7 lbs. The panel size is suitable for upgrades and new installations in standard X-ray systems, with or without a connection to the generator.

Improved Resilience

A durable protective enclosure absorbs impact from bumps and accidental drops, while an IPX6 waterproof rating safeguards your investment from inevitable spills encountered during portable emergency use. And to keep you productive on the go, the built-in power cell provides up to 8 hours of use after a 30-minute charge.

Compatibile With Other Time-Saving Digital Radiology Solutions

Fully compatible with the complete family of legacy AeroDR detectors, the AeroDR HD Detector can be added to or shared with any existing Konica Minolta AeroDR system without modifications2. It can also be used with the Konica Minolta AeroRemote™ remote monitoring, our cloud-based service that offers secure, real-time system and detector health and utilization monitoring from any mobile device.
